J. Hunt Brasfield specializes in personal injury and motor vehicle accident litigation.
Born in Staten Island, New York, Mr. Brasfield spent his undergraduate years at Trinity College (Connecticut), where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1964.
Upon receiving his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University in 1967, Mr. Brasfield was admitted to the Virginia and District of Columbia Bars in 1968 and the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1974.
Along with his exceptional skills as a litigator for consumer causes, Mr. Brasfield also achieved a highly distinguished military career. From 1968 to 1972 Mr. Brasfield served as an attorney in the JAG (Judge Advocate General) Corps of the United States Air Force, where he served as a Captain, doing defense work, prosecuting cases, and serving on occasion as a military judge.
He is an active member of the Virginia and the District of Columbia Bar Associations, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and was a Founding Member of the Alexandria Bar Foundation.
He served as an Executive Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of the Alexandria Economic Opportunity Commission from 1990-1991.
Mr. Brasfield practices at the HermanGerel office in Alexandria, Virginia.
